Immunogen
Synthesized peptide derived from part region of human protein
Specificity
CEP72 Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of protein.
Formulation
Liquid in PBS containing 50% glycerol, and 0.02% sodium azide.
Dilution rate

Purification process (Immunogen)
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen.
Background
The product of this gene is a member of the leucine-rich-repeat (LRR) superfamily of proteins. The protein is localized to the centrosome, a non-membraneous organelle that functions as the major microtubule-organizing center in animal cells. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008],
Function
similarity:Contains 2 LRR (leucine-rich) repeats.,

Cellular localization
Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, microtubule organizing center, centrosome . Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, microtubule organizing center, centrosome, centriolar satellite . Localizes to the centrosome and centrosome-surrounding particles throughout the cell cycle. These particles disappear after microtubules are depolymerized using nocodazole, suggesting that CEP72-associating particles localize in a microtubule- dependent manner.
